The Old Style Ink Ductor has end journals which are part of the roller and cannot be removed. As the roller spins, the end journals spin with the roller. | ||
| The New Style Ink Ductor has a removable shaft which is not part of the roller. The roller has ball bearings on each end. As the roller spins in the press, the shaft does not spin with the roller. | |||
